Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis in Escondido

Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis brings an unconventional blend of comedy and audience-driven improvisation to the Center Theater at California Center For The Arts Escondido in Escondido, California, on February 6, 2027. The format pairs hypnotist and entertainer Asad Mecci with comedian Colin Mochrie, best known for his quick-witted improvisation. Volunteers are hypnotized onstage, and Mochrie builds comic scenes around their unexpected responses. The show's appeal comes from the unpredictability: each performance can unfold differently, with the audience watching spontaneous moments take shape.

Venue and Seating Information

The Center Theater is part of the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, a performing-arts complex serving North County San Diego. For a comedy show built around expressions, timing, and audience reactions, seats with a clear, unobstructed view of the stage can help capture the performers' facial cues and the volunteers' spontaneous moments.

Review the seating chart when choosing tickets, since sightlines and the experience can vary by location. Center sections generally offer a straightforward view of the stage, while seats farther to the sides may present a more angled perspective. Check the event's seating map and ticket details for current section names and availability.

Parking arrangements and fees may vary by event. Check the venue's current visitor information before setting out, and allow extra time to park and walk to the theater. Nearby public parking may also be available, but confirm restrictions, hours, and rates on the day of the performance.
